At the Bear Summit 2025, the UIU Mars Rover Team (UMRT) achieved remarkable success, securing the 2nd Runner Up position. United International University (UIU) proudly showcased its cutting-edge innovation at the BEAR Summit and National Semiconductor Symposium 2025, where the UIU Mars Rover Team earned the title of 2nd Runners-Up in the Robotics Demonstration segment. Their rover, designed and built by students of UIU's robotics research group, stood out for its advanced engineering, problem-solving capabilities, and real-world applicability in planetary exploration. This achievement highlights UIU's growing contribution to robotics and deep-tech research in Bangladesh, inspiring young engineers to push the boundaries of technology and innovation.

3rd in ARC 2025 with Best Science & Autonomous Driving System Awards
At the Anatolian Rover Challenge (ARC) 2025 held in Turkey, the UIU Mars Rover Team (UMRT) proudly secured 3rd place overall, along with two prestigious recognitions: the Best Science Award and the Best Autonomous Driving and Control System Award. The team's latest rover, AXIOS, showcased cutting-edge AI-driven navigation, an advanced robotic arm, and powerful scientific analysis tools, proving its ability to handle the toughest terrains and complex mission tasks. 6th Worldwide in URC 2025 with Best Science Team Awards with Score of 100/100
In the University Rover Challenge (URC) 2025, the UIU Mars Rover Team (UMRT) secured 6th place worldwide among 104 international teams. The team won the Best Science Team Award with a perfect 100/100 score, the highest in the competition's history. Their rover, AXIOS, demonstrated outstanding performance in scientific research, autonomous navigation, robotic arm dexterity, and equipment servicing, showcasing UMRT's ability to compete at the highest level of space robotics challenges.

🏆 Globally 5th in URC 2024
In the University Rover Challenge (URC) 2024, the UIU Mars Rover Team (UMRT) from United International University (UIU) achieved remarkable success. They secured 1st place among Asian teams for the third consecutive year and finished 5th overall out of 36 finalist teams from 10 countries, including the USA, Poland, India, Bangladesh, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Mexico, and Turkey. Their rover, TELOS, demonstrated exceptional performance across all four missions: science exploration, autonomous navigation, extreme terrain traversal, and equipment servicing. This achievement demonstrates UMRT's consistent excellence and their ability to compete at the highest international level.
